Dear Dayton River Corridor Classic Entrant:

You are registered for the 40th annual Dayton River Corridor Classic and we hope you will enjoy this years event. Five people have done all previous 39 DRCC Half Marathons and are registered again this year: Felix LeBlanc, Joe Gerstle, Tim Mahaffey, Kevin Johnston, and Steve Hemmelgarn.

Special thanks to the City of Dayton, Five Rivers MetroParks, and Antioch Shrine Center for hosting us.

Additional information, including a course map, can be found at www.rundayton.org The 5K route will follow same path as the 1⁄2 Marathon.

All administrative activities will be held at the Antioch Shrine Center and Event Awards at RiverScape MetroPark

There will be a Trouble Table in case there are any questions. You may change races, but this must be done at the Trouble Table.

You will be given the shirt style and size you ordered. If you wish to exchange it must be done at the Late Registration area and is based on availability only.

Parking: Will be available on city streets and area parking garages.  Street meter parking is FREE on the weekends in downtown Dayton.

Pets will not be allowed for the safety of all participants.

You will receive a race bib with the chip embedded in the bib. Please wear the bib on your front outside clothing. Your chip time will start once you cross the start line. Overall male and female winners are determined by gun time. Age group awards are determined by chip time. Please run in the race you are registered. There will be a race photographer at the finish, be sure to look good crossing the line.

The race course uses city streets and the Great Miami River Recreation Trail. There will be runners going in both directions on the trail, so please stay to the “right” when you see approaching people. The Trail is reserved, but that does not mean that everyone in the area is aware of this. Lead cyclists and course marshals will ask bikers and walkers to be attentive to you. Likewise, because we are running through neighborhood areas there may be stray traffic on certain parts of the course so be aware.
